Day 4 Boat trip on the Seine

We had a lovely sunny day for our boat trip along the Seine. We passed most of the famous monuments, seeing them from a different view, including some beautiful gilt work on the bridges.

Our granddaughter requested a picture of us in front of the Eiffel Tower. We didn't take one there. We felt like the only people without a yard-long selfie stick there. But we did get a nice view from the boat Jesssica

                

There were also several houseboats, some fairly decrepit and some quite lovely, like this one
